Ocean2Air is a kitesurfing school based in La Lucia, just north of Durban on South Africa's east coast. Owner Rob Chrystal presents himself as one of the pioneers of kitesurfing in South Africa, teaching since the early days of the sport; the school describes a teaching method refined over 25 years.
The programme starts with a 3-hour beach introduction lesson for people who have never flown a kite, followed by the complete "Up and Riding" package. The website also lists kite fine-tuning lessons, board lessons, water intro lessons and clinics (All About The Kite, wave riding).
