Paraíso dos Surfistas - Maxime Hugo Kitesurf

Paraíso dos Surfistas offers private kitesurf lessons with Belgian instructor Maxime Hugo, at Manguinhos (Serra) and on Camburi beach in Vitória, in Espírito Santo state, depending on the day's wind. The website claims ten years of teaching, students aged 8 to 82 and always one-to-one lessons (kite, board, harness, helmet and radio included).

The progression shown is four sessions: flying the kite on the sand, body drag, waterstart, then independent sailing; most students sail alone after about four two-hour sessions, some after three and others after six. Lessons are booked one at a time with no compulsory package, and are rescheduled at no cost if the wind is too light; a free cancellation link works up to 12 hours before. A video filming and analysis service is offered from level 3.
