Vem Pro Kite

Vem Pro Kite is a kitesurf school on the northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul. Lessons normally take place at Lagoa do Armazém, in Tramandaí, a lagoon reached directly from the Freeway (about 50 minutes from the Porto Alegre exit according to the school) or via the Estrada do Mar.

The school advertises an easy and safe method, one instructor per student and private lessons on a fully shallow, private lagoon reserved for students (the water stays waist-deep according to the website). Instructors are certified by the ABK (Associação Brasileira de Kitesurf).

All equipment is provided: kites, boards, harnesses, wetsuits, UV lycra tops, boots, helmet and flotation vest. A photo and video package shot from the water is included. Private, duo, couple and group lessons, a complete 10-lesson course and an intermediate 6-lesson course; advice for buying gear.

On site: secure parking, bathrooms with hot showers, compressor, a wind-sheltered lounge area with bar/restaurant, internet and barbecue; pets welcome. Online booking through an app, forecasts and lesson schedule sent by WhatsApp.
