Windsurfing Kos

Windsurfing Kos is a windsurf, wing foil and stand up paddle school and rental centre in Marmari, on the north coast of Kos, in front of the Caravia Beach Hotel. It is the sister operation of Kitesurfing Kos (founded in 2009 in Mastichari): the website presents the two schools as one team, one of whose partners has taught windsurfing and kitesurfing since 2000.

Instruction is given by teachers trained to VDWS standards, and the centre offers VDWS licences in windsurfing, wing foiling and catamaran sailing. Courses cover windsurfing (2-hour introduction, 10-hour beginner course, improver sessions, private lessons) and wing foiling (two 2-hour Basic levels, with a boat taxi in onshore wind). The website also lists windsurf and windsurf foil rental, stand up paddle, catamaran sailing, boat trips and wake.

The windsurf fleet is described as well maintained, with JP Australia and NeilPryde equipment. The centre publishes pre- and post-season offers (15 April-31 May and 20 September-31 October); guests of the Caravia Beach Hotel get a rental discount.

Season from April to October; pre-season offers from 15 April to 31 May and post-season offers from 20 September to 31 October. Beginner windsurf course on Mondays at 10 am and on request.
