School Presentation
FootLoose SurfClub is a kiteboarding and wingfoiling centre in Viganj, on the Pelješac peninsula. The team teaches kite and wing and rents the equipment used by the school.
Kite lessons are given from a boat because the sea is deep: at most two students at a time, one kite shared between them, helmets fitted with radios for communication with the instructor. Theory starts at 10 am, and practice in the morning with an easterly/southerly wind or around 1 pm when the maestral arrives. The school is open from May to the end of September.
Equipment comes from North (Orbit, Reach and Carve kites from 8 to 15 m, Navigator bars, Nova wings) and Mystic; 164 cm boards are used for beginners. Daily rental includes kite, bar, board, harness, leash, wetsuit, impact vest and helmet. The centre also runs kite trips (Venezuela, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco).
