School Presentation
Liberan Surf & Camp is a windsurfing and kitesurfing school in Viganj, on the Pelješac peninsula (southern Dalmatia). It describes itself as a school with 30 years of tradition, linked to the Liberan Camp campsite.
The school teaches windsurfing (beginner and improver courses, a one-lesson trial, and a children's course for under-12s), kitesurfing (beginner courses with a boat, improver lessons) and wingfoiling. Instructors include freestyle and race riders and speak Croatian, English and German. The website mentions IKO-trained kite instructors.
School gear can also be rented: JP Australia boards and Severne school sails for windsurfing, with harnesses, wetsuits and life jackets; full kitesurf kit (kite, twin-tip, directional or foil board, harness, bar, wetsuit, helmet). The school is about ten metres from the Antony Boy camp.
Viganj is known for the maestral, a steady summer thermal wind, and for clear Adriatic water.
