Karavi Schinias Windsurfing School

Karavi Schinias is a seaside complex at Schinias (Marathon bay), among palm trees, with a beach bar, a beach volleyball court and a beach awarded the Blue Flag for more than twenty years. It houses a windsurf school recognised by the General Secretariat of Sports.

The school offers private or small-group one-hour lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced windsurfers, with theory on a simulator first and then practice on the water with the instructor. Beginners sail ideally early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the water is flat and the wind light; the thermal wind picks up around noon for more advanced riders. Equipment is modern (wide, stable boards and light sails). Equipment rental is announced; prices and schedules on request by email.
