School Presentation
Surf Club Keros is a seaside resort and watersports station on Keros beach, in Kalliopi on the island of Limnos, Greece, inside a Natura 2000 protected area. The 3 km wide bay is shallow, sandy and swept by a moderate but constant meltemi. The website presents it as an ideal playground for windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing foiling, with accommodation in luxury safari tents five minutes' walk from the spot.
The surf station (from surfers to surfers) gives windsurf, kitesurf and wing foil lessons, private or in groups, from beginner to advanced, in several languages (Greek, English, German, French, Bulgarian, Polish, Spanish). For kitesurfing, IKO instructors use radio helmets, students get an IKO student card at the end of the course, and equipment (twintips, strapless boards, foils), wetsuits, harnesses, vests and helmets are provided. The windsurf team says it has been windsurfing at Keros for about thirty years. The website also mentions camps (girls, kids, teens), an IKO instructor training course, diving, yoga and on-site dining.
