School Presentation
FlaminGokite is an eco kitesurf station on Aliki beach, north of Keros bay on the island of Limnos, Greece. It presents itself as the first kitesurf-only station on the island. The beach lies in a protected Natura 2000 area next to the Aliki salt lake, home to pink flamingos; the station is built from materials found on Limnos and runs on solar power.
The school offers beginner courses (group or private) and advanced courses on a foil or strapless board, with a radio system between instructor and student, boat-based teaching and a certificate at the end of the course. Lessons are given in English, German, Russian and Bulgarian.
Rental gear is current-year Cabrinha (kites from 4 to 15 m2, Nitro, Moto, Switchblade, FX, Drifter and Contra models), with a Double Agent foil board and a Spade strapless board. A rescue boat is available for all rentals, and the station offers gear storage right on the beach, downwinders Aliki - Keros - Red Rock and sales of used equipment.
