KiteGreece - Marmari Surf Club & Beach Bar

The Marmari Surf Club & Beach Bar is KiteGreece's southern Evia base, on Megali Ammos beach, a five-minute drive from the fishing village of Marmari and about fifteen minutes from Karystos. In front of the club is a big sandy beach with plenty of room to set up equipment and launch or land kites; the spot is promoted for its sunset and its view of the Petali islands complex.

Qualified instructors teach to IKO standards: private or semi-private courses (3- or 4-day Zero to Hero, IKO level 1 and 2 courses, refreshers, boat-assisted lessons), equipment rental and storage of personal gear. The Beach Bar hosts sunset events on Friday and Saturday and a few larger music events in summer.

KiteGreece also offers 7-, 14- or 21-day kitesurfing vacations with accommodation (Kite Villa), kite safaris and boat trips to the Petali islands, cruises in the Cyclades, foil and big-air camps, and a SUP and hiking week. Season runs from mid-March to mid-October, with wind advertised at 15 to 35 knots.
