Surfing Crete

Surfing Crete presents itself as the official surf school in Chania, certified by the Greek Ministry of Sports. It is based on Stalos beach, described as the most consistent surf spot in Crete, west of Chania.

Instructors are stated as ISA-certified and teach all levels, from beginners to surfers wanting to improve. The spot is chosen daily according to the forecast; most sessions take place at Glaros or Stalos beach, the most consistent surf spots around Chania in summer.

Options: 1.5-hour or full-day surf lessons, a 3-day course (each day 1.5 hours of lesson and 1.5 hours of free practice) and yoga sessions at sunrise or sunset. The school also says it operates in Paleochora.
