Kalo Surf

Kalo Surf is a surf school in the Kissamos area of western Crete, founded by Andreas (Andy) Koulepis after several years traveling the world. It welcomes all ages and abilities.

The school presents itself as the first surf school in Greece that is not tied to a single bay: the spot is chosen each day according to conditions and the group's level, to get consistently surfable waves. Mediterranean waves are described as having half the power of big ocean waves, making them suitable for beginners and families.

The offer: group lessons of 2.5 to 3 hours, new equipment provided, pick-up and drop-off from your accommodation, free photos and video coaching, from age 8 to 80. Instructors are described as qualified with up-to-date lifeguard licenses. If the weather does not allow surfing, another surf-related activity is offered.
