School Presentation
ParosKite is a wind-sports school and centre on Pounda Beach, on the east coast of Paros (Cyclades). According to its website, its instructors have been teaching kitesurfing there since 1993, and the centre now also offers windsurfing and wingfoil lessons.
The beach is described as long, shallow and sandy-bottomed, with the meltemi blowing side-shore, a setting suited to beginners and experienced riders alike. Lessons are given in small groups or one-to-one by multilingual instructors, by level (beginner, intermediate, independent), as semi-private (2 students per instructor), private or tailor-made formats. Courses for children aged 15 and under are offered, along with kite foil and directional sessions and boat-assisted lessons.
The centre rents kitesurf, windsurf and wingfoil equipment and runs an on-site shop (kites, bars, boards, sails, masts, harnesses, wetsuits, accessories, used gear). It presents itself as an official Eleveight importer and test centre and a North dealer; the windsurf gear shown is Severne. Beachfront accommodation, Anapnoe (7 rooms), is attached to the centre.
