Centro Vela Sunset

Centro Vela Sunset (A.S.D.) is a FIV federal sailing school based in the Oasi del Mare complex at Calambrone, between Pisa and Livorno. It teaches dinghy, catamaran and offshore sailing as well as windsurfing, kitesurfing and wing foil, with FIV instructors, and also offers boat storage and hosts national regattas.

The basic kitesurf course lasts about 6 hours (three 1.5-hour lessons plus a group session on a RIB); a second module is open to those who have completed it. Wing foil is taught in packages of 2, 4 or 6 lessons of 1.5 hours. Windsurf lessons, private or in groups (minimum 5 people), are for adults and children.

Rental includes windsurf gear with Goya sails and Quatro boards, a foil board for light wind, Hobie Cat catamarans, dinghies (Laser, Vaurien), SUPs, canoes and RIBs. Open from March to November depending on the weather; all services by booking.
