Baluverxa Escuela Surf Cabo Peñas

Baluverxa is the Cabo Peñas surf school, the first in the area according to its website, with more than 30 years of experience. It gives lessons at Bañugues, Luanco, Verdicio and Xagó beaches (municipality of Gozón, Asturias). It is registered in the Principality of Asturias tourist activity register (code DGT TA158) and holds Gozón municipal licences for Verdicio and Bañugues.

The offer includes group surf lessons all year (autumn 2026 programme announced), for children from age 8, adults, families, couples and groups (schools, universities, associations), private lessons, and beginner and improver levels with a minimum of five participants for group lessons. Lessons include instructors, all equipment, changing rooms and transport to the beach. The school is run by local Cabo Peñas surfers.
