Slash Boards, kitesurf craftsman in Avilés

Slash Boards is a surfboard workshop and brand in Avilés (Asturias), created by Marcos, a shaper who opened his first repair workshop at thirteen and built the first Slash boards around 1990. He worked at Roland Surfboards in California in 1995, then sold Simon Anderson Surfboards in Spain from 2004 and uses numerically controlled machines for preshapes; he makes boards for Spain, France, Portugal and South Africa.

The catalogue includes models (all-round, power, fun, retros and longboards) from about EUR 450, made-to-order boards and a board-choice guide, surfskates, wetsuits and branded clothing.
