Rompiente Norte Escuela de Surf y Surfcamp

Rompiente Norte is a surf school and surf camp in San Juan de la Arena (Soto del Barco, Asturias), on Los Quebrantos beach, a wide black-sand beach more than 3 km long. Founded in 2003 by Fer and Lucas, it presents itself as the first surf camp in Asturias, whose first lessons were given from a beach hut with five boards and twenty wetsuits.

The offer includes surf lessons (federation-qualified instructors), surf camps for adults and for young people, family surfing, paddle surf lessons and equipment rental. The beach office is the meeting point; the accommodation, the surf house "La Trinchera" (12 beds, views of the Nalón estuary), is at Ctra. Ranón 50, with private apartments for families.
