Uribe Kosta Surf Eskola

Uribe Kosta Surf Eskola is a surf school on the Uribe Kosta coast (Bizkaia), based in Gorliz. It started at La Salvaje-Barinatxe beach in Sopela, where it says it was a pioneer for the area, and now teaches all levels on the beaches of Plentzia, Sopela and Gorliz, all less than 30 minutes from Bilbao and connected to the metro.

Lessons, private or in groups, last at most three hours (about four including travel). The price includes boards, wetsuits, accessories, instructor, liability and accident insurance and transport: the school can pick students up where they are staying (from Bilbao, at the metro stop). The beach is chosen according to the swell. A discount of up to 10% is advertised for those who bring their own equipment.

Outdoor activities for couples or groups are also offered.
