Breakthrough Surf School

Breakthrough Surf School is a surf school at Nova Praia, on the Costa da Caparica, about 20 minutes from Lisbon. It offers group, private and kids' lessons, with wetsuit and board, insurance, private changing room, secure storage and an outdoor shower included.

All coaches are presented as experienced and certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and IPDJ. Tiago, a lifelong surfer, is coach, guide and surf trip organiser; the school also offers surf trips and tours. It welcomes Erasmus students, rents boards and wetsuits right on the beach and keeps a surf blog.
