elisiario.com - Escola e Centro de Windsurf

The windsurf school elisiario.com was founded in 2006 by Elisiário Carvalho in Seixal, on the south bank of the Tagus opposite Lisbon. It is located at Praia da Velha, just past the car park of the ferry quay, and presents itself as a windsurf centre with personalised teaching.

The programme covers baptism sessions (personal coaching or group), an initiation course, improvement levels (jibe, beach start, harness sailing) and advanced levels (footstraps, waterstart, carving jibe), as well as wind foil and wing foil.

The centre rents equipment and offers storage. Starboard features in its posts. The school is registered with Turismo de Portugal and displays a 2026 certificate; it runs a Windsurfing Open Race every year at the Seixalíada (20-21 September 2025, next edition planned for September 2026).

Open all year; from April to September the wind is most regular and the water warmest. Prices are not published on the website.
