Vela Mataró

Vela Mataró is a nautical activity centre managed by the Catalan Sailing Federation, based at the Base Nàutica in Mataró harbour (Passeig Callao). It promotes sailing and sea sports in a plural and inclusive way and caters for beginners as well as sailors who want to improve.

The offer includes windsurfing, catamaran and dinghy sailing courses, follow-up courses, individual sessions with one hour of equipment, after-school activities, sea baptisms, multi-activity programmes, birthdays, groups and corporate events, Easter courses, a summer camp for 2026 and inclusive sailing. The website also offers a membership scheme.

The centre is located on a beach sheltered from the weather, with a team of qualified technicians.
