School Presentation
Maresme Waves is a surf, stand-up paddle and skate club and school in El Masnou, on the Maresme coast north of Barcelona, a short walk from Ocata beach. The place works as a "beach house": changing rooms, board storage, equipment rental and a shop.
The school gives surf lessons for all levels and ages, a yearly surf course from October to May, stand-up paddle lessons and rental (with outings such as the Medes Islands crossing or the full-moon paddle), skate and surfskate classes, and e-foil sessions. Its "wind school", Maresme Wind, is presented on Ocata beach; the website currently details e-foil there (minimum age 12). It also runs summer campuses, functional training and surf trips to Cantabria. The school is described as officially approved.

Open all year for stand-up paddle. 2026-2027 surf course timetables are on the website; at weekends some slots run from 9:00 to 15:00.

- Surf lesson, 1 h 30: EUR 35
- Stand-up paddle lesson, 1 h 30: EUR 35; paddle course, 4 sessions of 2 h: EUR 120
- Skate / surfskate classes: from EUR 25 per person
- E-foil lesson, 1 session of 1 h: EUR 70
- Yearly surf course (October to May): EUR 90 per month + EUR 40 enrolment
