Zorlak Surf Escola

Zorlak Surf Escola is a surf school in the Rías Baixas, linked to the Zorlak Surfboards workshop and board brand (Sanxenxo). It has taught since 2016: in winter (weekends and public holidays) on whichever beach best suits the students' level between Sanxenxo and O Grove, and in summer at Montalvo beach in Sanxenxo.

Lessons last 2 h and include equipment (wetsuit and board), insurance, a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 7 students and VAT. The programme covers water safety, warm-ups, paddling, take-off, wave reading, first turns and a shaping workshop. Instructors hold Galician (FGS), Spanish (FES) or international (ISA) surf federation qualifications.

The school also offers surfskate classes, after-school classes, equipment rental, surf trips, beach clean-ups and inclusive surf events with foundations.
