Zorlak Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Sanxenxo

Zorlak Surfboards is the shaping workshop of Walter Nieto in Sanxenxo (Pontevedra). Walter started repairing boards at 15 and made his first board at 16; the Zorlak brand claims over 20 years of board building and more than 2,000 boards made.

Boards are custom-made and fully hand-built in polyester, with materials named on the website (Silmar, Hexcel, FCS, Future Systems). The site offers a customisation form to get a quote and invites visitors to book a visit of the workshop to see the steps: shaping, glassing, sanding and polishing. The workshop is linked to Zorlak Surf Escola.
