Ocean Origin Surf School

Ocean Origin Surf School is based in Azurara, in the municipality of Vila do Conde, and takes surfers out from Porto. The meeting point is the Casa da Música metro station; a trip of about 20 minutes leads to Azurara beach for a 2-hour surf session with all equipment and a safety briefing, then back to Porto.

The school offers beginner lessons, intermediate coaching and team-building sessions. The team is made up of certified instructors: Sérgio Franco (head of the school), Nuno Costa (instructor and surf judge) and Ricardo Rosmaninho (instructor and 2024 national bodyboard champion), all trained in life support.
