Tribo do Mar is a surf and stand up paddle school at Consolação beach in Peniche, running since 2005. It was founded by David Lourenço de Lemos, who has taught for 25 years, with Emma Dahl leading SUP.
Surf lessons, from beginner to advanced, are given in small groups (maximum 6 people per instructor) at the best spot of the day, with special attention to currents, rules and safety. The school also offers SUP lessons and tours, rental of softboards, surfboards, SUPs and wetsuits, and day trips (Nazaré, Óbidos). It is registered under RNAAT no. 186/2011 and with the Portuguese Surfing Federation (no. 161).

Prices shown (VAT included, year not stated): surf lesson 45 EUR per session (1 to 9 lessons) or 40 EUR (10 to 15), board, leash and wetsuit included; private lesson 70 EUR. Rental: softboard 15 EUR half day / 20 EUR day; surfboard 20 / 25 EUR; SUP 30 / 45 EUR; wetsuit 10 / 15 EUR.
