Llanes Surf & Aventura

Llanes Surf & Aventura is a surf and paddle surf school in Poo de Llanes, in the Los Higos neighbourhood, a five-minute walk from Poo beach on the Asturian coast. It says it is open all year round.

Surf lessons last two hours, from warm-up to leaving the water, with board, wetsuit, lycra and civil liability and accident insurance included. Each day the instructors pick the beach that best suits the group's level and the conditions among those around Llanes (Andrín, Ballota, San Martín, Palombina, Torimbia). The director, Mino Villar, has surfed the area for 16 years and holds a higher technician degree in physical and sports activities and a level 1 surf technician qualification.

The school also offers paddle surf lessons and rental (rigid and inflatable boards, at Poo beach, the Niembru estuary or Toranda beach), guided SUP tours, bicycle rental and help with accommodation.
