Malibu Escola de Surf

Malibu Escola de Surf is a surf school on the seafront of Vila Nova de Gaia, across the river from Porto, active since 1999. It describes itself as a "100% surf" school and is certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS). Its head, Miguel Ferreira, has surfed since 1987 and was a national and European longboard competitor for 15 years.

Lessons run all year, 7 days a week, with instructors who make their living exclusively from surfing, from beginners to competition level, and equipment for all levels. The school also runs the Gaia Surf Camp. Online booking; exact prices and hours are not published on the home page.
