School Presentation
Portugal Surf School is a family-run surf school in Costa da Caparica (father, son and Floyd), based at Muralha da Praia, Apoio 8, about twenty minutes from Lisbon. It is registered with Turismo de Portugal (no. 143/2023) and accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (no. 670); all its coaches are certified by the Federation.
Lessons last 2 hours, with board, wetsuit, lycra and insurance included, in groups by level (children aged 6 to 12, intermediates), as individual lessons or for closed groups, including sunrise and sunset sessions, in several languages on request. There is parking in front of the beach and a fully equipped changing room.
The school also offers board and wetsuit rental (3.2 and 4.3 mm), a surf camp, school-holiday activities, board storage, events for large groups, a shop (boards, wetsuits, accessories) and surf and skate lessons and rentals near the Costa da Caparica pier.
