Kook Proof

Kook Proof is a sports activity company based in Esposende, north of Porto. Operating since 2004, it is described by the local tourist office as a kitesurfing pioneer in the area. The school is recognised by the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and its instructors are certified; it presents itself as the only school in the area offering both lessons and IKO instructor courses.

Kitesurf lessons are private and take place on the sandbank of the Cávado river, surf lessons on a beach reached by boat, and stand up paddle lessons start from the Esposende marina. Kite, surf and yoga camps are offered, with accommodation possible at the InnEsposende Sports Hostel.

The company also runs a boat taxi with support for kitesurfers, mountain bike tours and outdoor yoga sessions. Prices are not published in the sources consulted: ask for a quote.
