Total Kitesurf Conil

Total Kitesurf Conil is a kitesurf school in Conil de la Frontera (Cádiz), open since January 2010. It reports more than 15 years of experience and over 3,500 students taught. Its instructors (Fran, Rafa, Ángela and Gino) are qualified by the Andalusian Sailing Federation (FAV) and the school is registered in the Andalusian active-tourism register under number AT/CA/00136, with liability and accident insurance.

The base is in Conil, but depending on wind, tide and waves, lessons move to other beaches in the province (Chiclana, Conil, Tarifa). The website cites Conil's conditions: wide beaches, steady westerly wind and the Salado river mouth, a flat-water area suited to beginners.

The course follows three steps: kite handling on land, bodydrag in the water, then riding with the board and water start. Options are intensive, private, semi-private (couples) and group of 3 to 4 friends, with full equipment included. The school rents full or partial equipment and sells second-hand gear and new gear to order (Duotone, Eleveight, Airush), viewable in Conil and Tarifa.
