School Presentation
Waves4Life is a kitesurf, surf and stand up paddle school on Bela Vista beach on the Costa da Caparica, about twenty minutes from Lisbon, next to the Casa da Praia restaurant. The school has a base on the beach and roughly 250 m of sand for lessons, and says the summer thermal winds are very steady and the sea usually calm.
It is registered with Turismo de Portugal, and instructors are certified by IPDJ and IKO. The kitesurf offer includes private, semi-private, introductory and advanced lessons, as well as strapless kite (kitewave) and kitefoil lessons. Students start with a 2 m trainer kite before moving to inflatable kites.
The school rents recent kiteboard gear (Ozone and Mystic) and surfboards, and also teaches surf and SUP.
