Sardinian Wind Wave Club (SWWC School)

The Sardinian Wind Wave Club (SWWC) is a sports association in north-west Sardinia led by Andrea Mariotti, a professional athlete presented as a federal instructor and national head of practical training activities in board sports. It teaches windsurfing, surfing, stand-up paddle and wingfoil, and offers guided SUP excursions (16 routes across the north-west of the island).

Its bases are in Platamona (Via degli Oleandri) and Alghero for beginner lessons when there are no waves; when there are waves, windsurf, surf and SUP lessons take place at the region's sandy, medium-wave spots depending on current weather. A one-week surf camp (6 days of 2 hours, 10 hours in total, with a final diploma) is announced from early June to the end of October for a minimum of 4 participants.

Lessons include theory and practice on land, water training and a video clinic; equipment (board, sail, wing, life jacket, harness, lycra, wetsuit) is included. The website and Google listing mix the association's name with that of a board shop, "Out of Town Board Shop", in Sassari (Via Filippo Turati 6), with the same phone number.
