Windsurfing Center Stintino

Windsurfing Center Stintino has offered tourism and water-sports services in Stintino since 1986. Its historic base is at L'Approdo, facing La Pelosa beach, in north-west Sardinia; a second site, Rocca Ruja Point, serves as booking office and pontoon for excursions, and a KiteBar operates on Le Saline beach.

The windsurf school announces federal instructors and international racers, with beginner, improvement, funboard and foil courses, as well as children's courses (at most 3 students per instructor; lessons of about 50 minutes). The "Foil-Ready" course introduces windsurfing on a hydrofoil. The centre also teaches sailing (Laser, Hobie Cat 16 catamaran, Optimist). The water in front of L'Approdo and La Pelosa beaches is presented as a safe bay for beginners, with prevailing west, north-west and north-east winds.

The sailing centre rents windsurf gear, foils, dinghies, SUPs, canoes and pedal boats; it also offers summer and winter storage, a shop (clothing, new and used windsurf equipment), sailing catamaran excursions to the Asinara national park since 2000, and for 2026 "Bed & Wind" packages (accommodation and equipment rental).
