Municipal Water Sports Base – Les Salles-sur-Verdon

The Municipal Water Sports Base of Les Salles-sur-Verdon is a town-run facility at Port Margaridon on Lake Sainte-Croix, in the heart of the Verdon regional nature park (22 km² of water). It offers water and land activities led by qualified instructors, for individuals as well as schools, leisure centres, associations and works councils.

The listed activities are funboat, catamaran, kayak, kayak polo, windsurfing and paddle. Wingfoil and wing SUP are presented as a novelty. The sailing school opened on 22 May 2026 and summer courses (windsurf, catamaran, funboat) started on 6 July 2026, in 5-day (Monday to Friday) or 3-day (Monday to Wednesday) formats.

The base also offers basic accommodation (tents and camp beds), leisure packs for vans and motorhomes combining overnight stays and a water activity, and a year-round leisure club (Wednesdays for children, Saturdays for adults). The site is wheelchair accessible and has a harbour and boat parking.

Office: Monday to Friday 8 am-12:30 pm and 1:30-5 pm, Saturday 9:30 am-4:30 pm, closed Sundays and public holidays.
