Association Voile & Nautisme 04 (AVN) – Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon

The Association Voile & Nautisme (AVN 04) is a non-profit club on Lake Sainte-Croix, in Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, at the foot of the Verdon gorges. It has about 150 members and offers a sports school, regattas, rentals and courses. It is affiliated with the French Sailing Federation and the French Rowing and Canoe-Kayak Federations, and is accredited by the Youth and Sports ministry and the national education system.

The base is open from April to November. Summer courses (6 July to 28 August 2026) run Monday to Friday in 2-hour sessions: Optimist and Open Bic for ages 7-12, catamaran for adult beginners and young people from age 12, and an intermediate windsurf course (adults and young people from 13-14, stable board or board progression for planing). An autumn course is announced for 19-23 October 2026.

Rental covers catamarans, solo dinghies, windsurf boards, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and big paddle boards, with private lessons available. The association also hosts school groups, seminars and leisure centres, with side activities (orienteering, hiking, climbing).
