School Presentation
Bonifacio Windsurf is a windsurf and wingfoil school and rental centre based in Piantarella, at the southern tip of Corsica. The club says it has been active since the early 2000s on the Piantarella lagoon, at the entrance of the Strait of Bonifacio, inside the marine nature reserve between Corsica and Sardinia.
The historic Piantarella base has been complemented since 2023 by a second base on Balistra beach, in the Santa Manza bay, taken over from the former Nustrale Ride school. Both sites offer lessons and rental in windsurf and wingfoil with qualified instructors; windfoil is available at Piantarella as courses or rental. About forty boards are available for rental, with on-site equipment storage.
On the rare windless days the club offers kayak and stand up paddle around Piantarella or the Santa Manza bay. It also sells second-hand equipment from its fleet. The base is open seven days a week from April to October.
