School Presentation
Kite Légende is a snowkite and kitesurf school in the Hautes-Alpes, founded in 2006. In winter it teaches snowkiting at the Col du Lautaret (2,058 m), in the Serre Chevalier area; in summer, kitesurf, foil and wing lessons take place on Lake Serre-Ponçon, on the Prunières and Savines-le-Lac side.
The snowkite programme runs from a 3-hour introduction to improvement sessions, full-day rando-kite, private lessons, a water-to-snow transfer course and supervised sessions. Minimum age is 7 with parental consent. Kite equipment (radio, harness, suitable kite) is provided; clients bring their own helmet, skis or snowboard and clothing.
The winter meeting point is at the Col du Lautaret, in partnership with the Lautaret Lodge & Spa for food and accommodation. The school is affiliated to the FFVL (no. 01966) and belongs to the École Française de Kite network. It also runs the Club de snowkite du Lautaret.
