Club de Voile Hourtin Médoc

Club de Voile Hourtin Médoc (CVHM) is the sailing club on the Hourtin-Carcans lake, based on avenue de la Voile in Hourtin. Its motto is "Discover, Learn, Train".

Its sailing school welcomes children and adults on Optimist, open-skiff, windsurfing, catamaran and paddle. The club also offers leisure sailing, to try a new craft or relax on a paddleboard with family or friends.

For competition, it organises regional, national and international regattas in dinghies and keelboats, with training all year round. It highlights its involvement in major dinghy events, notably ILCA, and has a clubhouse and race committee premises.

A 2026 membership is open online (valid from 1 March 2026 to 1 March 2027), giving a discount on sailing activities excluding the sports school and courses.
