Description
The Koksijde Yachting Club (KYC) is a watersports club at Sint-Idesbald on the Belgian coast at Koksijde, with a sailing school, a tractor service for launching boats, a bar and an events programme. It is affiliated with the federation Wind & Watersport Vlaanderen.
The school offers catamaran sailing (camps in July and August, from age 8), kitesurfing, wingfoiling and SUP. Kitesurf lessons run from 1 April to 15 October, in groups (from age 12) or private, with all gear supplied by the club (wetsuit, helmet, harness, new North kite and board); the first lesson lasts three hours, later ones two. Wingfoil is offered as discovery lessons at sea during the summer.
