The Yacht Club d'Agadir (YCA) is a Moroccan non-profit association founded in 1960, based at Agadir's marina, in the old port. Its stated purpose is to open watersports up to the local and visiting population of the Souss-Massa region, and to that end it runs a sailing school that trains and coaches its athletes and sends them on advanced courses in Morocco and abroad.
The club regularly hosts foreign squads coming to train on site or to prepare for the Olympics, and it is the organiser of the city's major regattas under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Sailing Federation: the HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan international Optimist regatta, the Moroccan championship, the 2014 African Optimist Championship, and above all the Arrecife–Agadir international regatta, a crossing of some 220 nautical miles from Lanzarote. The 9th edition, in August 2025, drew close to 90 racers; in May 2025 the club had already hosted an international regatta with 63 competitors from sixteen clubs across three continents.
Dinghy and offshore racing are the heart of the club's activity. It also states that members may practise other watersports, among them kitesurfing and kayaking. Membership is by application, at the club.
