Clube Naval de Cascais - Escola de Vela

Clube Naval de Cascais runs one of the largest sailing schools in Portugal, active since 1950 and training around 900 sailors a year. The website ranks it in the Gold category among the schools certified by the Portuguese Sailing Federation.

The classes taught include Optimist, Laser (Pico, Bahia, ILCA), Hobie Cat, Sprinto and windsurfing. The website gives no levels, calendar or prices for windsurf: please contact the club. Seasonal sailing and windsurf courses were announced by the Cascais municipality in 2024.

The club is based in Cascais, on the bay, and shows regatta and competition activity in 2026.
