Surf Clube de Sesimbra

Surf Clube de Sesimbra (SCS) is a non-profit youth, sports and recreational association founded on 6 June 2000. Its mission is to promote wave sports in the Sesimbra municipality, supporting younger generations and combining sport with environmental responsibility. The club trains competitors, notably in bodyboard, who take part in regional and national circuits.

Its school teaches surfing, bodyboarding, skimboarding and stand up paddle, from age 3 to adults, in groups of up to 5 students per coach divided by level. It is accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, registered with RNAAT (no. 314/2015), with a team certified in surfing and rescue. Lessons last at most 2 hours, with transport from the club's base, full equipment and insurance.

Programmes: Winter Sessions (October to June), Summer Clinics for ages 6 to 18 during the summer holidays, single lessons, and an adapted SUP programme with an accessible chair available free of charge.
