Wildcoast Surfboard, kitesurf craftsman in Saint-Romain-de-Benet

Wildcoast Surfboard is the shaping and repair workshop of Eliot Casties, located on the route de Royan in Saint-Romain-de-Benet (Charente-Maritime), about ten minutes from Royan and close to Pontaillac, the Côte Sauvage and the Île d'Oléron. The website mentions customers since 2020, about 250 boards produced and 1,000 repairs carried out.

The 300 m² workshop has a dedicated area for each stage of production. Boards are made to measure and customisable: fish, hybrid shortboard, egg or mini-malibu, mid-length and malibu longboard, plus specific models shown in a gallery.

Shaping is mostly done by hand; only performance models may be pre-shaped on a CNC machine. Decoration uses tinted resin, spray or fabrics, and customers can choose rail thickness, logo colours and plugs. Board repair is offered on quote.

Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm.
