Saint-Georges Voiles

Saint-Georges Voiles is a sailing and land-yacht club active since 1961, based at the sailing base on the main beach of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne (1 boulevard du Général Frénal), on the conche. Its website publishes a notice of race for a windsurf regatta on 4 October 2026 and new visuals from February 2026.

Sports teams include multi-support initiation (ages 8 to 12), catamaran (10 to 18), windsurf (10 to 18), land yacht (10 to 18) and a regional catamaran training centre (11 to 18). For leisure, the club offers discovery from age 6, multi-support for teens and adults, supervised aquatic walking and an independent va'a outrigger group. Courses, open from age 4, cover land yachting, young sailor, Optimist, windsurf, Fun boat catamaran, Ty Cool 14, Hobie Cat 15, wing foil and instructor training; private lessons are possible. Rentals cover sailing boats, windsurf, paddle, kayak, pedal boat and land yacht, with a boat park.

Instructors are qualified and the club is affiliated with the French federations of sailing, land yachting, canoe-kayak and hiking. It is open all year, with courses every day during school holidays, summer and winter.
