Blonder Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Victoria

Blonder Surfboards is a custom board and repair workshop in Victoria, on Vancouver Island. It was founded in 2020 by Hagai Blonder, who discovered surfing as a teenager on the Mediterranean coast and comes from a background in architecture and product design.

The workshop handles all fibreglass repairs, builds custom surfboards and keeps a few stock boards. It also gives shaping lessons, where students learn to make their own board with an instructor. Everything is by appointment only.
