Custard Point Surfboards, kitesurf craftsman in Newquay

Custard Point is a shaping workshop and surf shop in Newquay, Cornwall, established in 1983. Master shaper Tim Mellors, with around thirty-five years of experience, designs and builds custom boards there, together with Lee Hallam.

The boards are mostly longboards, mini malibus and alternative shortboards (fish, egg, mini Simmons), made to order. The shop also sells fins, accessories, wetsuits, board bags and leashes.

Spring/summer 2026: Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm; closed on weekdays according to the site, which also announces normal hours from June to September.
