ACDC Surf Studio, kitesurf craftsman in Queijas (Oeiras)

ACDC Surf Studio is a technical repair workshop for water-sports gear in Oeiras (Queijas), between Lisbon and Cascais. It repairs surfboards, foil boards, SUPs, kitesurf and windsurf boards, as well as jet-ski fibreglass, in PU, epoxy, fibreglass, carbon and Kevlar.

Work covers dings and cracks, fin box repairs, restorations, painting and finishing, and assessment of air-travel damage. Each item is technically assessed (material, construction, damage, weight, rocker, finish) and the workshop says clearly when a repair is not worth doing. Small dings without water ingress can be repaired the same day after assessment.

The workshop is the official Firewire Surfboards repair agent for Europe. It also offers selected second-hand boards with technical advice, custom boards, and created Resurf Wax, a circular-economy project turning used wax into new wax.
