Lake Vättern is the second largest lake in Sweden and offers an immense body of water for sailing, at 88 meters altitude. Lake Vättern is known for its deep and clear waters. In sustained winds, the significant fetch can generate considerable chop. The dominant southwest and west winds cross the lake well. The spot offers access from Vätterstranden beach. Lake Vättern is one of the best lake kitesurfing spots in Sweden thanks to its size and wind exposure. The spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders due to the possible chop.
