Overview

Långa Sand is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of Sweden in Halland County. As its name suggests ("Long Sand"), this spot offers a large stretch of sandy beach ideal for kitesurfing. The spot faces the Kattegat with a perfect west-facing exposure to capture the dominant southwest to west winds. The long beach offers generous space for launching and landing kites, making it a popular spot for riders of all levels. Conditions are typical of the Halland coast with a body of water that can get choppy in strong winds. The sandy bottom ensures safety in case of falls. The best period for sailing extends from spring to autumn.
